One of the biggest blockbusters of all time, Wolf Warrior 2 is an epic action movie that, if you live in the US. UU., Most likely, you’ve never heard of it. This 2017 movie from China introduces Wu Jing (who also wrote and directed the movie) as a former Chinese army soldier who now works as a mercenary. In the film, he must protect a medical group in Africa from a mercenary opposition force, directed by “Big Daddy,” which is played by American actor Frank Grillo. The movie has tons of high octane action pieces, and that is partly thanks to the film’s association with Joe and Anthony Russo, the film directors of Marvel as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The duo consulted about the movie and even allowed their team of movie specialists to help create the great action sequences. Wolf Warrior 2 ended up earning $ 874 million, mainly in China, but now you can watch this action movie at the Hollywood level in Hulu.

2. Demolition Man
Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes were at the top of their game in this 1993 action movie that actually seems more relevant today than when it was first released. Stallone plays LAPD policeman John Spartan, who in the “near future” of 1996 is obsessed with taking down Snipes criminal Simon Phoenix. Spartan captures Phoenix, but is blamed for not being able to save the lives of several hostages that Phoenix has captured. Both men are subjected to cryostasis (the new way to punish and imprison criminals in the “near future”), but Phoenix manages to break free in 2032, in a world that is now a (almost) completely peace-loving society. Only Spartan can bring Phoenix to justice. Demolition Man has some great action sequences, but it’s also very funny and satirical, as he tries to answer the question: “What would really happen if we all stopped fighting?”
3. The matrix
The 1999 movie is still one of the best action movies in Hulu, and one of the best action movies, period. The Matrix borrowed a lot from the kung fu movies and anime movies for their looks, but none of them offered this combination of battles and fights exaggerated before, especially in live action. Keanu Reeves plays Thomas Anderson, a computer programmer by day and hacker by night, who discovered very early in the film that a group of dishonest cyber terrorists want to recruit him. However, they are not what they seem to be. In fact, the entire world in which you live may not be what it seems. Hulu also has two lower sequels of this movie to watch too; The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
4. Iron Man 2
Before Disney Plus launches and takes many of the movies from Marvel Cinematic Universe, you can watch Iron Man 2 on Hulu. The 2010 film is the third in the MCU series, and brings Robert Downey Jr. back in his second outing as Tony Stark and the Iron Man Armored Avenger. This movie, although not as good as the original, is still very fun to watch, mainly to see Downey Jr and his performance as the ingenious multimillionaire industrialist. This is also the first film that features Scarlett Johansson playing the role of superstar Natasha Romanoff, also known as The Black Widow, who has appeared in a ton of MCU films since Iron Man 2. In addition, we see Don’s first appearance Cheadle, taking over the role of James “Rhodey” Rhodes and also putting on War Machine’s armor for the first time.
5. The terminator
While there were certainly action movies released before The Terminator, the 1984 film directed by James Cameron marked the beginning of the modern era of action movies, with sequences of shooting, driving and almost non-stop battle. While the film was clearly made with a low budget, Cameron used every penny to bring this story to life. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the leading role, a cyborg that is the physical manifestation of an evil AI called Skynet that took over the world in the near future but was finally unable to maintain it due to a small group of human rebels. Terminator, through Skynet, has traveled back in time to 1984 in a final effort to win by trying to kill the mother of the leader of the human resistance, John Conner. While the first sequel, Terminator 2, is technically a superior film, it is difficult to describe how much impact the original Terminator had on the movies in the mid-1980s. While it seems a bit outdated today, it is still one of the best films of action of Hulu.
6. Stargate
After the success of the Transformers movie, Hasbro helped launch another of its toy brands from the 1980s, G.I. Joe, to the movies in 2009 with The Rise of Cobra. Directed by Stephen Sommers of The Mummy, this film brought the basic premise of the line of toys, comics and animated series of the 1980s. AMERICAN SOLDIER. Joe is the code name of a multinational attack force that has to fight global threats. In this case, the threat is the opposite number of the team, Cobra, a highly funded and technologically advanced terrorist group. Many of the main characters of G.I. The toy line Joe enters the plot of the film, which has Cobra trying to destroy Moscow and Washington D.C. with a special warhead that literally eats metal. Is the movie a bit silly? Yes. Is it still fun to watch? Absolutely.
8. Lethal Weapon
The 1987 friend friend police action movie still holds up well over 30 years later. Written by Shane Black and directed by Richard Donner, this film focuses on Martin Riggs of Mel Gibson, an LAPD detective who is excellent at his job, when he has no crazy outbursts and suicidal thoughts. He’s paired with Roger Murtaugh of Danny Glover, an older detective who doesn’t want Riggs to be around because he could kill Murtaugh. However, the two mismatched police officers turn out to be the perfect pair to tear down a mercenary-controlled drug smuggling ring. Watch for the big shootings and a final confrontation between Riggs and Gary Busey, who plays the evil henchm an of this movie.
9. With Air
Ah, with Air. It is possible that this 1997 film is not on the list of “best movies” of many people, but in the 22 years since its release, it has become a kind of cult classic. That is partly due to the performances of Nicolas Cage and John Malkovich. Cage plays a convict (unjustly imprisoned, of course) who finally gets out of jail and wants to meet his wife and daughter. He got on a plane full of other hardened criminals, including Malkovich’s character, who, along with several others, managed to hijack the plane in hopes of fleeing the country. It is up to Cage to stop his plans. There are many shots and explosions, but the real pleasure of this movie is to see how Cage and Malkovich bounce each other. It is definitely one of the dumbest, but also the best action movies in Hulu.
10. Mission impossible: consequences
The Mission Impossible spy action movie series (based on the 1960s television show) has had ups and downs in terms of quality, but the 2018 release of the six M: I movies may be the best movie in this Serie. Tom Cruise again plays the secret agent of the IMF Ethan Hunt, who in this mission (which he, of course, accepts) has to recover three plutonium nuclei that he and his team manage to lose. However, as with all M: I movies, there are many double and triple crosses, and many surprises saved for Hunt and his team along the way. Henry Cavill makes us forget (well, almost) that he was Superman, since he plays a CIA agent sent to control Hunt’s team. Screenwriter and director Christopher McQuarrie keeps us interested in a variety of action games, including a HALO jump, a chase through Paris and one of the best fights in a bathroom we’ve seen. Oh, and Cruise flies a helicopter for the final sequence of the movie. Yes, he does that.
